Inventory Process Mining. Process mining and machine learning for large-scale inventory management (2022–2024). Client: IKEA IT Aktiebolag.
The initiative demonstrates the applicability of process mining and machine learning techniques to business analytical problems in large-scale inventory management, such as inventory corrections, transaction types in distribution centres, reliability of goods-in-transit ETAs, and the transition from goods in transit to goods on delivery. For each problem the University performs problem analysis, solution design and validation through a dedicated analytical tool. Budget 250 k€. I am a member of the Unicam research unit, responsible for the machine learning research.
