The project studied the protective effect of natural lignan mixtures isolated from legumes on low-grade inflammation and their possible epigenetic role. The identification of the optimal mixture combined extraction techniques with data analysis and clustering to find emergent patterns in the laboratory data. Partners: Unicam Chemistry, Computer Science and Biochemistry divisions. I coordinated the Computer Science research unit.
