AI.EM studies and develops advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, technologies and systems that make production and service processes more efficient and enable a new class of machines with advanced AI, high environmental sustainability, and unprecedented human-machine and machine-machine interaction and self-regulation functions. Work packages cover adaptive ML for energy efficiency, AI for reducing the waste of consumables, and human-machine interaction technologies that use field data on non-conformities and failures for fast fault resolution. Budget 1.9 M€ (Unicam share 70 k€). I am a member of the Unicam research unit.
